Reserve Your Spot

We are excited!

ReGathering is here! After weeks of praying, talking, and planning, the day is finally set for firstChristian to ReGather in person starting July 19th.

You are invited to an in-person service Sunday, at 9:15 AM or 11 AM
Due to social distancing, seating is limited, and reservations for you and your loved ones are required. (Reserve your spot below using the blue reservation button)

When you are ready, we are ready! We are excited to be ReGathering, but we know that not everyone is ready to Gather Big in person. So we are pumped that we are continuing broadcasting on TV through News Channel Nebraska through Labor Day weekend and providing live stream services at live.fcnorfolk.org.

We show and grow

“How do we show God’s love and grow God’s people?” We cooperate with state and local directed health directives, consider the safety and spiritual needs of our community, and provide the best opportunities and tools to grow faith.

We are flexible

The terrain keeps changing with updated directives, information, and insights. We are dedicated to adapting to best fulfill our mission. We’ve never had to adapt so much so quickly before, and God is faithful. Regathering will look different than we were used to, but God will use it for His glory and our good.

We are gracious

Not everyone will agree with the decisions, such as registering for live service or encouraging wearing a face mask. But as Jesus followers, we sacrifice to show love to everyone, not just those who agree. Not everyone is ready to regather or lift restrictions, and that is ok. Not everyone believes it is best to worship at home at this time, and that is ok. Please show grace and love to one another. And remember, this is not an easy season for anyone.

What to expect

Family Services

There will not be any in-person children's programming on Sunday mornings for the time being. All services are family-style services with children remaining with their families throughout the service.

Face-masks

Face masks are encouraged but not required for service participants. We encourage wearing a mask to protect others in case the wearer is unknowingly infected. Out of safety and love for you, our Sunday volunteers will be wearing face masks. A free face-mask will be available to anyone who desires one.

Social Distancing

We have designed an entry route to help everyone maintain at least 6’ of distance from others. You will see floor mats that mark where to stand while waiting to enter the auditorium. Ushers will guide you to your seats as well as dismiss you out of the south doors into the parking lot. We will not have small gatherings before or after the service.

Clean Environment

We will have hand sanitizer at the entrance and exit doors. Doors will be opened for you to create fewer touchpoints. We have volunteers that will sanitize the building before and after the services.

Reserved Seating

Seating according to health directives, significantly reduces our capacity. Each service will be limited to 120 people. We want everyone who comes to have a seat, so please reserve your spot for you and your loved ones below.  *People will be seated as they arrive, specific seats may not be reserved, except for those with physical limitations in movement.

Communion

If you would like to participate in communion, we will hand out prepackaged communion before you enter the auditorium.

When to stay home.

  • If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 - cough, shortness of breath, chills, repeated shaking with chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, loss of taste or smell, diarrhea, feeling feverish or a measured temperature of 100.0F or greater, for the safety of others please stay home.
  • If you have been in close contact with a person who has had a suspected or lab confirmed case of COVID-19, please stay home until after you have passed the end of a 14-day self-quarantine and symptom free.
