Rooted provides each participant the opportunity to grow your relationship with God, deepen your connection with the Church, and discover your purpose.

Rooted is a 10-week discipleship experience shared in a small group setting. You will explore the Bible, engage in experiences, and practice rhythms of discipleship essential to a healthy spiritual life.

Who is Rooted for?
Rooted is designed for ALL people. We would especially like to see people who are new to faith and/or new to firstChristian to join Rooted. It will help new Christians learn what it means to follow God, and it will challenge all Christians to deepen their walk with God.
What if I can't make it?
Rooted participants are expected to miss no more than 2 experiences. The 10 weeks are cumulative, and missing sessions not only impacts affects you, but also the people in your group.
Where do we meet?
All Rooted groups meet at the church. Nights and times will be determined and communicated as we get closer to launch.
How much does it cost?
Rooted cost is $35 per person. You will receive a Rooted book and a Rooted t-shirt. This amount is due prior to the Rooted Launch each session. We strongly believe you will see the value of this experience once you have completed it. If money is an issue, scholarships may be available.
What are the experiences?
All Rooted groups will do a Prayer Experience and a Serve Experience -- each take about two hours. Group leaders will work with their group to find dates and times that the entire group agrees upon.
Can I get a scholarship?
We understand that the Rooted registration fee may be a burden for some and we are happy to provide scholarships. When you register, please mention that you need a scholarship.
Can I sign up with friends?
You can sign up with friends. Please indicate this on your registration form. We will do our best to place you in the same group, but don't make any guarantees that you will be in the same group.
Is childcare available?
It’s no surprise that we love kids at firstChristian! Unfortunately, childcare is not available. Please plan accordingly for your personal childcare needs.
When will I get my book?
You will receive your workbook the first time you meet with your group at the Rooted Launch. Check your email for info about the Rooted Launch event.
